INFINOKTA

Infinokta is a project that comes from 8 figures. Notkta means 8. 8 is a special number that has an infinite movement, maybe the movement of what we really want to be…
Infinokta is the hybrid transformation of a man that changes into a woman.
The life story of an Androgyne who came to my studio where she posed for hours and hours to work on the search for herself. The transformation of the body floats in the air between the mirror that reflects the multiplication of the image both up and down.
I remember in my childhood drawing with colored pencils, but only small pictures. In fact, Caroline my Androgyne reminded me of my childhood and thought it would be interesting to represent her using colored pencils draw a body that would be 2M tall on my convas.
The physical impact of this body is a search for herself in a place where geometry plays in the space.
Infinokta was built like an architectural project, an octagon where visitors can enter through a door.

The simple appearance of this huge box contrasts with those colorful drawings inside, which reminds us of the possible when things are impossible.
The box is a game for visitors, who stand in front of 8 different drawings playing with the sensation of avoiding gravity. In fact, the mirrors reflect the image into multiplicity.
Maybe visitors will find their true image inside this box.
